★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not one to always write reviews, but I had to write this one. Having checked the reviews which was high in our eyes we decided to give it ago! I don't speak the language but my partner dose and we had a small complaint at the start which was a fair complaint and the rude response we got from I believe to be the owner, I could see from my partner's face she was not very understanding and the kids said she was actually rude and we should leave. Basic restaurant etiquette is if a customer complains you don't retaliate to make them uncomfortable. I can't comment on the food hense why we gave 2* as we didn't eat after this rude and uncalled for response!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy calm location, rather good interiors and you can feel the seabreeze if sitting outside. Service is quite ok, waiters speaking Hungarian, German and a little bit of English as well. Minus for a bit of waiting for my red wine while the main dish got cold. Food where good but we had higher expectations. Plus for excellent done veil-steak.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hungarian cusine, perfect and delicious food, huge portions, very kind stuff. There was a disgusting food in our hotel so we tried to find good restaurant for dinners - after first try we didn´t want to look for anything else and visited Calvados Étterem every evening for the whole week :) Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an enjoyable lunch and it could be 5-star had the waiting staff been a bit more trained in English and the Greek Salad been that indeed. The Cordon Bleu was good, but salad was awful. Lastly, the outdoor sitting area could use a fan of sorts to make the dining easier during the hot days

Food was good too. Location is not that good.
I didn't like that at the end, I give the waiter 2000forint tip because he was very nice and polite. But the women there who was coming with the bill, took from him the half.
And I saw it all.
Not a nice thing to do. Otherwise I was all good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dined in Calvados restaurant recently and were really satisfied - the food was brilliant, the atmosphere was very cozy and the friendly, attentive staff made sure that we have a great experience. I would really recommend the steak with the foie gras and the excellent fish dishes. We really felt special here, we will come back soon!
