P	Philip Tamborijn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vergane glorie en slecht onderhouden. Eigenaar is op leeftijd en dat merkt men ook aan de toestand van de camping. Geluid van autostrade overheerst op de achtergrond. Te veel sanitaire blokken die misschien al jaren niet meer gepoetst zijn?De standplaatsen zijn niet vlak. Er is geen restaurant. Dat was wel aangegeven op straat. Het zwembad is mooi en proper. Op dat moment was het wel bezet door een rumoerige groep waarvan er 2 een enkelband aanhadden. Dat stoorde ons en de andere campinggasten. Conclusie. Niet heengaan. Faded glory and poorly maintained. Owner is elderly and this is also noticeable in the condition of the campsite. Highway noise predominates in the background. Too many sanitary blocks that may not have been cleaned for years? The pitches are not level. There is no restaurant. That was indicated on the street. The pool is nice and clean. At that time it was occupied by a noisy group, 2 of whom were wearing an ankle bracelet. That disturbed us and the other camping guests. Conclusion. Don't go.

Sie spricht ausgezeichnet Deutsch und ist den Gästen gegenüber sehr offenherzig und kommunikativ. Die Anlage ist wunderbar ruhig und weitläufig, sowohl für Camper als auch Radler geeignet. Die sanitären Anlagen sind gut in Schuss. Jederzeit gerne wieder! S.H. Very nice staff, especially the boss of the small beach bar by the pool. She speaks excellent German and is very open-hearted and communicative with guests. The facility is wonderfully quiet and spacious, suitable for both campers and cyclists. M	Mr Oliver on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude grumpy man, clearly disliked the fact that we were English and started shouting at us for pronouncing things incorrectly. needless to say we promptly left. Can definitely recommend camping Pap-sziget.

While I obviously dared to disturb him on his after lunch break for Check-in, he hit his desk with his hands and shouting at me, because I was saying Budapest (the German way, as I was speaking German with him). If I hadn't set up our Caravan already with two tired children, I would have moved on without hesitation. The place itself has a nice settings but it has seen better days, not much effort is put in, to keep it nice. No toilet paper or soap in the bathroom. Some toilets clogged and not really clean. Very limited hot water in the showers. The Pool seemed to be nice, but I didn't check it out.
P	Piotr Danielczyk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a tent with two people and electricity and all the facilities we paid 15 eur (late September). We came there around 8 p.m. but without a problem we were greeted by the elder couple who apparently take care of the place. Although the owner didn't speak English perfectly, we communicated perfectly using a mix of languages. The place is quite nice, bathrooms ok and rather clean, although not the highest standard and a bit too dark. All in all, I would recommend this place, although it's not a perfectly quiet place, since even during the night you can hear from the distance the sounds of the nearby road.
