D	Diane Dobry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, beautiful rooms, helpful staff, delicious food with many choices at each meal. Only strange thing was the mini bar/refrigerator was not cold. I think it was because the outlet had a surge protector plug and I think it was overloaded. Showers can be overwhelming in the bathroom because the water seeps out into the room. But that is the design. The balcony is very nice to sit out on and enjoy the view of the hills. The old village is in walking distance but be prepared to climb uphill to return to the room. Also, the cash machine is at the bottom of the hill so you work for your money withdrawal

Staff was very kind and helpful at all times, the catering was great - It was buffet, but I was very positively surprised at the fantastic quality and variety offered at the restaurant. The location is great with great views over the mountains and is very close to all attractions in the village.

Very kind staff at reception, as well as in the restaurant. Super selection of breakfast, typical Hungarian dishes and many local produce from local smallholders, great tastes. Same applies on buffet dinner, flavours and variety more than sufficient. Nice and clean wellness area, pool with jets and whirls, terrace for sunbathing. Massage was also very good, attentive staff. Room/bathroom clean and comfy, minimal design with a touch of local elements. Easy check in/out, free parking on site. Pleasant few min stroll to reach historical village centre and castle. Highly recommended both for a romantic getaway for two, as well as for families with kids. Bowling, pool, kids corner are a plus. Small but well equipped fitness room is also a good feature.
R	Richard Stokes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent... almost perfect hotel; quality of the evening meal buffet was absolutely above any other 4 or 5***** hotels, beyond exceptional, breakfast buffet amongst the best for Hungary. Location and surroundings, staff all really on the game, spot on - possibly the best staffed hotel out of all 4 and and 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Grounds and cleanliness is all perfect, everything is 'OCD good', never seen a hotel at this standard. Detracted / negatives; room 118, 'superior room with valley view is mostly a wall 3 - 5m away (see the pic which is a view when sitting in the bed), we had to change rooms to 114 for the remaining 3 nights which was stunning and beautiful. Room AC doesn't get below 23. All over, this is by far the best hotel compared to all the 4 and 5 star hotels we have been to.

The noise goes right up into the room upsatairs (2nd floor) making it impossibe to have an afternoon nap or early sleep. Shame.
