Ezt a klasszicista épületet a Kölcsey-Kende család építtette. Majd volt a későbbi korokban itt úttörőtábor, iskola, napközi, és bentlakásos gyermeknevelő otthon is, úgy, ahogy azt a magyarországi kastélyoknál megtapasztalhattuk. Utána sokáig üresen állt. Pár éve kezdték el a helyreállítását, felújítását. Néhány szobáját berendeztek, illetve helytörténeti kiállítást láthatunk benne. Egy teremben pedig környezetvédelmi kiállítás látható, a különféle madarak, és állatok megismerésére van lehetőségünk. A parkja csodálatos, védett. Különösen egy óriási, öreg tölgyfa tetszett nekünk, négyen próbáltuk körbeérni a vastag törzsét. A tárlatvezetőnk érdekesen mesélt nekünk mindenről. Reméljük, hogy a kastély berendezése folytatódni fog a jövőben is. I have barely heard anything about this castle so far, so I was very surprised to find it in such a beautiful, renovated condition. This classicist building was built by the Kölcsey-Kende family. Then in later ages there was a pioneer camp, a school, a day care center, and a residential children's home, as we could experience at the Hungarian castles. After that, he stood empty for a long time. They started its restoration and renovation a couple of years ago. Some of its rooms are furnished and we can see a local history exhibition. In one room there is an environmental exhibition, we have the opportunity to get to know different birds and animals. Your park is wonderful, sheltered. We especially liked a huge old oak tree, four of us trying to get around its thick trunk. Our guide told us interestingly about everything. We hope that the furnishing of the castle will continue in the future.

A kastélypark hatalmas, és talán a legszebb része a 185 éves Platán fa, ami része a történelemnek. Nem hinnem, hogy sok hasonló létezne mára már belőle, talán legközelebb Túristvándiban a vízimalom kertben. Mivel Cégénydányád kiesik a forgalmas utak mellől, ezért annál izgalmasabb hely. A gondnok hölgy segítőkész volt mindenben, ill. a belépő sem horror, ezért ajánlom, hogy aki teheti látogassa el ide. Aki ott jár ne habozzon, csengessen nyugodtan, én is így tettem, mivel az ottjártamkor a gyér látogatottság miatt az ajtót csukva találtam. During my Bereg gate, I discovered a non-everyday settlement and a nicely renovated building. The castle park is huge and perhaps the most beautiful part of the 185-year-old Platan tree, which is part of history. I do not think that many of them already exist today, perhaps the closest to Túristvánd in the water mill garden. As your company is out of the busy roads, it is a more exciting place. The caretaker lady was helpful in everything, or. the entry is neither horror, so I recommend that anyone who can visit here. Those who go there should not hesitate, ring calmly, and I did so because I found the door closed because of the low attendance.
V	Vass Éva on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kalandosan látogattunk meg a kastélyt, mert a fehérgyarmati Szabó Lovasudvar lovaskocsijával kocsikáztunk ki. Szépen felújított kastély. Mindenképpen érdemes útba ejteni. Szépek a kiállító termek is, a recepciós hölgy mesélt a kastély egykori tulajdonos családjának történetéről. A parkban lévő, közel 190 éves platánfa csodálatos. Sajnos nagy eső volt, mikor ott jártunk, így a parkot nem tudtuk végig bejárni. We visited the castle adventurously, because we rode the horse-drawn carriage of the Szabó Horse Farm in Fehérgyarmat. Beautifully renovated castle. Definitely worth a trip. The exhibition halls are also beautiful, the receptionist told the story of the family of the former owner of the castle. The nearly 190-year-old sycamore tree in the park is amazing. Unfortunately it was raining a lot when we were there so we couldn’t walk around the park.
