★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A szekszárdi egyházközséghez tartozó Mária kegyhely. Egyszerre Kisboldogasszony- illetve Remete kápolnaként is ismert. 1757-58 között épült a város nyugati határán lévõ domboldalon. A kápolna egyhajós sokszögű szentéllyel záródó, a hajó egybe épült a toronnyal. A búcsújáró hely az egykori remeteházról kapta a Remetekápolna nevet. Az ide vezető útnak is Remete utca a neve. Ennek végén, a kápolna tőszomszédságában áll a Kálvária, búcsúk alkalmával a keresztúti ájtatosság színhelye. A nyugati oldalon négyzetalaprajzú sekrestye csatlakozik a szentélyhez. Kertjében igényes, szabadtéri ülőhellyek és szószék is található.
Shrine of Mary belonging to the parish of Szekszárd. It is also known as the Chapel of the Assumption and the Hermit. It was built between 1757-58 on a hillside on the western border of the town. The chapel closes with a single-nave polygonal sanctuary, the nave being built into the tower. The place of pilgrimage was named the Hermit's Chapel from the former hermitage. The road leading here is also called Remete utca. At the end of this, in the immediate vicinity of the chapel, stands the Calvary, the site of the devotion of the cross on farewells. On the west side, a square-shaped sacristy joins the sanctuary. The garden also has sophisticated outdoor seating and a pulpit.
