A mondás igazát mi sem bizonyítja jobban, mint Oskar Schindler története. Steven Spielberg nem sokkal a megjelenése után elolvasta az ausztrál Thomas Keneally regényét, mégis tíz évnek kellett eltelnie, hogy elég érettnek tartsa magát a Schindler listája filmre vitelére. A film főhőse, Oskar Schindler született üzletember és szerencsejátékos. A II. világháború legelején elkerül a megszállt Lengyelországba, és azonnal megérzi, milyen hatalmas üzleti lehetőségek nyílhatnak meg előtte. Baráti kapcsolatok és némi ügyeskedés révén megszerez magának egy gyárat, a Deutsche Emailware Fabrikot, és nem győz eleget tenni a beözönlő megrendeléseknek. Könyvelője, Itzhak Stern rábeszéli, hogy minél nagyobb számban foglalkoztasson zsidókat, így nemcsak olcsó munkaerőt talál magának, hanem segíthet a koncentrációs táborokban szenvedő embereken is. A gyár hamarosan a zsidók egyetlen menedéke lesz. 1944-ben a nácik az Endlösung, azaz a zsidókérdés végső megoldása jegyében bezáratják a helybéli táborokat, és a rabokat Auschwitzba és Treblinkába, vagyis a biztos halálba akarják küldeni. Schindlernek gyorsan lépnie kell, ha meg akarja menteni a munkásait. Némi korrupció árán rábeszéli a német hatóságokat, hogy a termelés szempontjából nélkülözhetetlen munkásokkal együtt a gyárat áttelepíthesse a cseh-lengyel határra, Brinnlitzbe. Ekkor készül el az 1100 nevet tartalmazó lista, amelynek résztvevői kalandos úton, de megmenekülnek a krematóriumokból. Brinnlitzben Schindler gondoskodik arról, hogy a gyár fennállásának hét hónapja alatt semmi olyasmit ne állítson elő, amit a németek hadi célokra tudnának használni. 1945. május 7-én, amikor a tábor lakói megtudják, hogy a németek kapituláltak, és abban is biztosak, hogy az oroszok pillanatokon belül elérik Brinnlitzet, Schindler elbúcsúzik védenceitől. Best Movie theater in Hungary

L	László Juhász on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you feel like watching a movie in comfort, with great sound quality and reasonable prices this is the best option in the city. Especially if you wanna watch the movie with original language. Love the idea of having a table with lighting next to and feeling like you are the only person in the cinema. It did happen a few times that they ran out of sweet stuff in the buffet but that's improved lately.
I	Ivonig Corfmat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We watched star wars in room number 1 and it was a very pleasant and relax experience. The seats are the best I ever had in a cinema. Large, confy, you even have an extra cube for your feet and a pillow for your back. The room is cosy with some old school lights and round tables. Room was not gigantic but confort was clearly there. Popcorn were decent with reasonable price for a cinema. The place now also have some bowling lines.

n	nesztelen csiga on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exquisite exterior, the most comfortable cinema in Budapest (very comfy chairs, side tables and a lot of leg space with foot puffs). They always play some original voice movies (with subtitles). The venture includes a bowling alley as well.

The retro design is nice. Sound was not that good, but that might be because of the movie we watched.
