The employees were very polite and helpful . There were some mini-problems in the bathroom but the room was lovely .

My foreigner in-laws spent a couple of days in this hotel over the past summer. As when they were traveling home, we couldn't take them to the airport, I've arranged the taxi ride with the receptionist who mentioned that it's normally 10-12k HUF. As a local, I exactly knew this and we gave 15k HUF to them just to make sure they would have enough when taking the cab... Unfortunately the taxi driver seeing that they were an elderly couple that didn't speak nor Hungarian or English fluently tried to rip them off and upon arriving to the airport and told them that the ride is "120 euro or dollar". Luckily my in-laws did not pay anything more than the 15k HUF that they had. I'm strongly recommending not asking airport pickup or ride service at this place as they seem to collaborate with scammers.

I’d like to say thank you the man (didn’t know the name, unfortunately), who helped us to check-in (night from the 13th to 14th March), when we were desperate to find something adequate. he helped us with the luggage, showed empathy and was really polite and… cool. Our stay at the hotel was amazingly comfort.

The place is good if you want to do shopping, but if you love the Danube and walk around so this place is a little far. The staff was great and nice, the breakfast is great and they replace everything all the time, there is a really nice woman who work alone at the breakfast place (the entrance in a different entrance for the breakfast, is close to the lobby) they have a coffee machine with different types of coffee and hot chocolate, one they the nice woman made for us banana shake and was delicious. I gave less score to the room because the AC didn't work, they gave us a fan but Budapest weather was around 33 degrees so the room was like an oven, so be careful, if your room is in the second floor (there is no elevator) check about the AC before check in. They have the option if you leave early in the morning to ask for take away breakfast, that's really nice but we aren't sure if it's works or not because we asked for it twice (one day before in the morning and then we double check at the evening) they told us there is no problem but when we left they told us they forget to ask for our breakfast ??‍♀️ Average opinion about this place is good.

The hotel is located close to the centre of the city. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. They have refridgerator and a television in the room. They clean the rooms everyday. Its close to Margaret island which is also a nice place to visit. One of the downside is that there are no restaurant/places to eat at the hotel. However, there is a kebab place next door which is really good.

Our homebase for a month.... an adequate hotel with amazing staff! It was the thoughtful, friendly and helpful staff that made this stay truly pleasant. The room was clean and cozy, the bed newer and comfortable and the room was constantly serviced. Once the heating stopped working and within hours the maintenance man came and had it working again. I only complain about the noise from the street where trams rush by like jets and the smell from cooked meat from the Turkish restaurant below fills the room all day, every day. I think we would have been better with the room on the courtyard, but we decided to stay in this room even after management offered to move us. The helpful desk staff arranged taxis and offered advice and the cleaning crew was so nice and took care of our room. It was nice to return from a day out on the town to a tidy room with freshly made bed and clean towels. I greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness of the cleaning staff. Thank you again for a lovely time in Budapest.
