Nem is értem, hogy képes valaki egy üzlet forgalmának megnövelése céljából olyan alapvető társadalmi normákat felrúgni (méghozzá azzal a természetességgel, ahogyan ő tette), hogy előbb a szülőtől kérünk engedélyt és aztán nyomulunk a gyerekre, ha megengedte. Felháborító, hogy egyesek mit meg nem engednek maguknak. Mondtam is a kislányomnak a hölgy előtt, hogy "te fogod ezeket kifizetni?" Mire a hölgy, egy szemernyi belátás nélkül: "Miért, hát ez egy szuper ajánlat, hogy hármat kaphat ingyen!". Tudják, mit ért el ezzel a viselkedéssel? A kislányomnak egy másik Claire's üzletben vásároltam utána, és elmondtam neki, hogy a megjegyzésemet nem konkrétan neki szántam, hanem az eladónak, hogy vegye észre magát. It was very annoying to me when the sales lady, after learning from me that we were just watching and not intending to buy, replied to me: then I would talk to the little girl now, and then she told my 11-year-old girl that she would pay three, get six, and then sketched tell him what super things you can buy in the store. I don’t even understand that someone can push up basic social norms (with the naturalness that he did) in order to increase the turnover of a business by first asking the parent for permission and then pushing for the child if he or she allowed it. It is outrageous that some people cannot afford it. I even told my little girl in front of the lady, "Are you going to pay these?" To which the lady, without a hint of insight, "Why, well, this is a great offer to get three for free!". Do you know what you accomplished with this behavior? I bought for my little girl at another Claire’s store afterwards and told her that I didn’t specifically address my comment to her, but to the salesperson to get noticed.
