Szerintem, arról a platánról kapta a nevét, bár a fa nem lehet túl öreg, hiszen a lakótelep sem régen épült annyira. Ez a fafaj pedig nagyon idős kort meg tud érni ahhoz, hogy úgy nézzen ki, ahogy most látom a fotókon...
