 Coop is a Hungarian food chain with more than 3,000 stores nationwide. In its stores you can get almost exclusively products made in Hungary, a significant part of which is sold under the brand name “Coop”.
The origins of the company go back to the 1870s, when consumer and credit cooperatives were formed at the suggestion of Count Sándor Károlyi, considered the father of Hungarian cooperatives.
