A kiszolgálás színvonala a múlt században már kihalt a legtöbb helyen, itt még a flegma felszolgálás, köszönni nem tudás és az italok nem ismerete éli életét. Ismerve a többi barcsi helyet, ennél csak jobbat talál aki inni vagy enni szeretne. Barcs, but perhaps one of the weakest places in Transdanubia. Pozitívumok: -Előzetes telefonos asztalfoglaláskor, majd ottlétünk alatt a helyszínen a személyzet nagyon kedves, udvarias, vendégbarát volt! Igyekezetüket nagyra értékelem. -Esztétikus beltér, kényelmes székek, harmonikus színek. Negatívumok: -Július közepén voltunk, nincs klíma az étteremben, mindannyiunkról csorgott a víz, mert még a külső hőmérsékletnél is jobban felmelegedett a belső tér. -Ételt és italt is tudtunk olyat választani, amiből nem állt rendelkezésre éppen, holott az étlapon szerepelt (kacsa és ananászos cappy). -Az ételek a minősíthetetlentől a közepesig értékelhetőek: A leves bár húslevesként van említve az étlapon, mindannyiunk számára egyértelműen érződött az ízén, hogy leveskockából készült, húst még távolról sem látott. Második fogások közül a bundászott/rántott frissensültek sikerültek jobban (ördögszelet, cordon bleu), de a grillezett csirkemell rózsaborsos mártással is ízlett, valamint a steak burgonya volt még jobb. A barackos csirkemell joghurtos salátaágyon sajnos kritikán aluli volt (sem só, sem bors nem volt sem érezhető, sem látható a felkockázott és megpárolt csirkemellen, melyet egyszerű, fűszerezetlen salátára helyeztek, barackkonzervvel összekeverve - a mártást pedig a konzerv levének és némi joghurtnak az összekeverésével készíthették, a cukrozott konzervlé ízen kívül semmi más íze nem volt és még a saláta is édes lett tőle) Volt még az egyik fogáshoz grillezett zöldség, ami tocsogott az olajban - zöldséget grillezni nem így kell. Én nem ajánlanám a helyet azoknak, akik voltak már előtte olyan étteremben, ahol a finom ízek, a kellemes környezet tette élvezetessé a látogatást. Sajnos helyhez voltunk kötve, a környéken kellett választanunk egy esztétikusnak tűnő helyet. Ez valóban az is volt, az esztétikán és az udvariasságon kívül más pozitívuma nem volt, ami egy étteremnél nálam nem üti meg a mércét, mert az ételek íze legalább ennyire fontos, ha nem a legfontosabb, ha egy ember étterembe megy. Dear Corner Restaurant! I apologize for not being able to give you a good meal despite their best efforts. Pros: - The staff was very kind, courteous and welcoming when we booked our table by phone and during our stay! I appreciate their efforts. -Aesthetic interior, comfortable chairs, harmonious colors. Cons: -We were in the middle of July, there was no air conditioning in the restaurant, all of us were splashing water because the interior was warming even more than the outside temperature. -We were able to choose food and drink that was not available even though it was on the menu (duck and pineapple cappy). -The food can be rated from the unqualified to the middle: The soup bar, mentioned as a broth on the menu, made it clear to all of us that the meat made from soup cubes was far from being seen. From the second course, the fried / fried fresher ones were better (devil slice, cordon bleu), but the grilled chicken breast tasted better with rosemary sauce, and the steak potatoes were even better. The peach chicken breast on the yogurt salad bed was unfortunately not critically acclaimed (neither salt nor pepper was noticeable or visible on the diced and steamed chicken breast, which was placed on a simple, unpasteurized salad, mixed with canned juice and some yoghurt) , the sweetened canned juice had no taste other than the taste and even the salad made it sweet) There was another grilled vegetable that was sizzling in the oil - the vegetables should not be grilled like this. I would not recommend the place to those who have been to a restaurant before, where the delicious flavors and pleasant environment made the visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, we were bound to a place, and we had to choose a place that looked aesthetically pleasing. It really was, apart from aesthetics and courtesy, there were no positives other than a restaurant, because the taste of food is at least as important, if not the most important, when going to a restaurant.
