★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moved here in 1896 from Esztergom thru Titel. Arranged by Gyula Sohlya, notary of Csongrad, my great grandfather. Destroyed in 1918 and 1944. Still works...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bridge is broken up and towed to the side of the river during the winter months. There is a ferry service every 30 minutes (or more frequently on demand) during daytime and if there is no fog. In case of a flood the ferry service for cars is out of order and only pedestrians, bicycles and smaller motorbikes can cross. In these conditions the the boat is directly pushing against the muddy river bank and doesn't use the regular ferry ramp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For most of the year is accessible and very comfortable to use. During winter there is a ferry that does a crossing every half and hour from 07:00 till 16:00 ( except from 12:00 til 13:00 )
