Nice, quiet, friendly place. Recommended.

Lovely little camp site in touch with nature in the szigetköz area. The river just runs along the camp sites' restaurant. The restaurant is popular, people driving all the way to this middle of nowhere place for the lovely home-style cooking. We had 3 wonderful big lunches there. The owners of the camp site are a very friendly couple. They made us feel at home in a genuine sense. No fake hospitality there, just genuine warmth. We would definately return on our next visit to Hungary.

This is a lovely family owned and run campsite, a minute away from a main road but you would never know a there is no road noise. It really is a beautiful haven popular with locals and kayakers down the Danube, the owners are truly lovely and speak primarily Hungarian/German & some Slovak, their son speaks excellent English but may not be there, so as long as you are prepared for the potential for a little misinterpretation all will be fine. The family who run it are lovely, but at busy times may appear a little abrupt as they are overrun with numerous guests and want to serve everyone. The food is always freshly cooked and homemade, so be prepared to wait for your food, but as long as you have patience you will be rewarded with a a feast - yesterday for starters I had the fish soup, nicely spiced and wonderful with their bread, my wife had a cold plum fruit soup which again was incredible. The main course was again a fish dish, with wonderful home cooked chips and an incredible cabbage salad - you won't leave Hungary hungry (sorry, poor pun!) On the weekend this site can be incredibly busy, but on weekdays it is peaceful and serene - a great place to stop for travelers driving through Hungary.

We stayed here on our return journey from our holiday in Hungary and what a beautiful memory to leave with. The site is quiet and in the most amazing location on the banks of an off-shoot from the Danube. We would happily have spent days here 'lost in nature'; iridescent dragonflies, the humorous sound of frogs and lovely songbirds. We were served a homecooked dinner with a long cool draft beer overlooking this wonderful scene. Sadly we only had one night but you can be sure we'll be back to stay with these genuine and friendly people again.

Very nice camping. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Toilet and bathroom with warm water. Sanitair is not new but fine. River nearby to swim. Many clubs come for a one or two day visit. Good food at the bar. Great place to be!

Very nice place with friendly service. Toilets and showers are not brand new but you can see they take care about it. Menu in restaurant is small but halaszle was very tasty! Very nice and quiet place. Thank you! See you next time!

Great place by a gorgeous river. Great food and beer, owners really really friendly. Awesome stay for 1 night on way back from Georgia.

Beautiful landscape and very friendly staf. The facilities are basic but the nature is amazing. Bathroom is clean, in open air.
