When you are the only non-Chinese patron in the place and the menu shows only a handful of meals, that's quite telling. This restaurant serves the best dumplings I've had in my life. 15 for 1500 huf, it's a no-brainer. If you have the chance, go there and try it. It's definitely more than worth the time and money.

I want to share a story with you about Da Bao Jiazo Zi. It is one of the most famous and delicious restaurants I have ever eaten however the last two times I was there the lady who served us (probably the boss) was rude and unhelpful. I asked them what kind of frozen gyozas they have and she replied to me rudely, also she looked down on me. After having decided which gyozas I wanted to buy. However, she could not explain it and got mad at me, which I don't know how come. I reckon English is a must in Chinatown. I started to speak in English but she appreciated neither. In addition to this, when I got to the cashier she demanded the money furiously like I had done something wrong to her. She started yelling at me like what my problem was angrily. It was so embarrassing and disrespectful, my parents are a frequent gyoza buyers at this place and every time they encounter this old-fashioned pokerfaced lady. I am deeply sorry that the truth must come out. The standard of this place is going down day by day. And the way she yelled at me is disrespectful! I don’t recommend this restaurant if you don’t speak Chinese. They are rude and disrespectful towards people who do not speak proper Chinese Furthermore, the boss and her employees are not wearing masks as we are facing COVID 19 pandemic which kills thousands of people every day , in my opinion it is obligatory to wear a mask inside a restaurant as a policy. Today CDC (Centre Disease Control reassured me it is still a legislation and therefore this restaurant needs to abide by the law or face the consequences. DO NOT COME THIS PLACE BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS UNFRIENDLY

Very authentic Chinese restaurant with very tasty dumplings. Some staff speak a little Hungarian and some English. The menu contains items in Chinese and Hungarian. The prices are average. Takeaways are available. Staff are wearing masks and disinfect every table after customers and are very friendly.

Traditional restaurant where you can buy dumplings and some other Asian meals. The service is not perfect, they forgot our order for about 15 minutes, but the food was extremely delicious, and the price is also affordable. Paying is not possible by card.

The location is a bit remote, but the aura of the surroundings is plesent. The restaurant is almost naked, white walls and white tables and chairs on one side, more traditional tables on the other side. You can order in Chinese, English and Hungarian. The food was really nice. We ate steamed and fried gyozas as well. This place worth a visit in my opinion.

Staff didn’t speak any English and was frustrated with me but luckily a local was there to help translate. Not her fault I didn’t speak Mandarin, Cantonese or Hungarian, i tried to point to pictures at the food menu. The Pan fried chicken dumplings had no flavor and even the chili oil was lacking texture and flavor as well.

The dry noddles and the cold appetizer were delicious with great flavours. However we were disappointed with their dumplings. The veggies ones were bland and the dumpling wrappers were lacking cheu to it. This place is clean and bright with large windows. Fast service. But we probably won't be back as there are many other options to explore in the area.
