A szabadstrandra csak belépővel engednének be, ami amúgy 2 hét múlva nyitna. Szétnézni pedig nem engedett be a portás, mert zavarnánk a vendégeket . Ezek után nem is voltunk már kíváncsiak a dánfoki "szabadstrandra".

Excellent liyyle holiday resort. It is classified as a "living water", meaning you swim and having fun in a water filled with fish, frogs and clams on the bottom, the water is dark and murky. You have to respect it, and have to teach your children to be careful, as there could be underwater currents, sudden cold spots and you cannot see 10 inch underwater, meaning if someone is in trouble underwater, noone will notice it until it is too late. There are no reported incidents since 10 years, so with a little care it is good fun, just keep it in mind it is not a swimming pool. Apart from that, my daughter had a lots of fun, and I had trouble taking her home every evening, as she wanted to stay until its dark. When not swimming, we went on fish/frog/clam hunting or a walk around, there were always something new and fascinating she never seen before. There is a little restaurant on the place, with good Hungarian meals, there is toilet and a few wooden houses even you can rent for overnight or a week. I have spent my childhood here swimming and playing and in the nearby river and river banks, I highly recommend it as a holiday destination. One of the days there was a family holiday event with live music, hungarian folk dance performance, bouncy castles for kids, cotton candy, face paint, my daugher was delighted.
