Recommended for everyone this winery. Exceptional in Hungary because of the aging method they are using. Zsolt is a great teacher and worth listening him.
I would love to recommend the wines of Daniel Cellar to everyone. Unique wines made in Hungary can be consumed here. Last but not least, Zsolt is a great teacher who is worth paying attention to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A VALÓBAN kézműves pince borai nem a mennyiség, a gyorsaság, a remek cash-flow, vagy a divatos íz érdekében születnek. Ez az ember a jó értelemben vett őrült! Dániel Zsolt semmit nem áldoz fel a bor egyediségéből, beltartalmi értékéből, tisztaságából. Nem ad a borhoz semmit! Nincs fajélesztő, nincsennek trükkök, viszont VAN mérnöki pontosság, valamint amit a szőlő, az évjárat és a terroire ad.
Elvi kérdés, hogy nem használ műtrágyát, növekedés szabályozót és génmanipulációval előállított szaporító anyagokat, s a növényvédelemben is tilosak Nála a kemikáliák.
Ha kihagyod, akkor nem biztos, hogy átfogó képet kapsz SZEKSZÁRD borvidékének a legjobbjaiból. Zsolt borai a 2007-es évjáratoktól kóstolhatók, lenyűgözőek, s árai – ahhoz képest, amit nyújtanak – rendkívül mérsékeltek, mivel – azt gondolom – nagyon sok 50, sőt 100 € feletti árú bordóit leköröz.

The wines in REALLY handcrafted cellars are not born for the sake of quantity, speed, great cash flow, or trendy taste. This man is crazy in a good way! Zsolt Dániel does not sacrifice anything for the uniqueness, content and purity of the wine. It doesn't add anything to the wine! There is no species yeast, no tricks, but there is engineering accuracy as well as what the grape, vintage and terroire gives.
It is a matter of principle that he does not use fertilizers, growth regulators and genetically engineered propagating materials, and he is also prohibited from using chemicals in plant protection.
If you miss, you may not get a comprehensive picture of the best of the SZEKSZÁRD wine region. Zsolt's wines can be tasted from the 2007 vintages, they are impressive, and their prices - compared to what they offer - are extremely moderate, because - I think - it surrounds a lot of burgundies priced above 50 and even 100 €.
I really recommend it!
