Big square next to river full of young people in summer!

Nice square. Sometimes there is a market, or some attractions there.

Nice tourist attraction, situated on a main bus route, worth a visit

Pre xmast event are great. Györ is town be all year long.

We went out on New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks. The atmosphere was very happy, people celebrating and singing. The whole square looked very nice with all the Xmas decorations still on in all their shinning glory. The Ferris Wheel looked splendid from the distance, being built in the middle of the square, close to the river Danube. Our grandchildren loved watching the view over the illuminated city of Gyor the night before. It was a lovely experience, particularly the artificial ice skating ring set up in the square. It was a lovely celebratory felling seeing everyone happy during the festive season.
