★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mindenki ismeri a Debreceni Egyetem előtti parkot, amit a sugárúttal együtt Borsos József városi főépítész tervezte 1932-ben. A park két oldalán Debrecen és az egyetem szellemi hagyományait megalapozó nagyok szobrai vannak a francia stílusú parkban, térlépcsőkkel, díszmedencével és sétányokkal osztott téren.
Azon érdemes az Egyetem épülete mögötti parkot is megnézni, hiszen a nyári melegben az árnyas fák felüdülést adnak, az egyetemi épületek között a diákok megpihennek. Kikövezett és kivilágitott gyalogutak vannak a nagyerdői fái között.
 Everyone knows the park in front of the University of Debrecen, which was designed by József Borsos, the city's chief architect, in 1932 together with the avenue. On both sides of the park, there are large statues of Debrecen and the university, which form the basis of the intellectual traditions of the university, in the French-style park, which is divided by square stairs, an ornamental pool and promenades.
It is also worth visiting the park behind the University building, as the shady trees provide refreshment in the summer heat, and students can relax between the university buildings. There are paved and illuminated footpaths among the trees in the Great Forest.
