A külsejében modern, szerkezeti felépítésében bizánci hatásokat tükröző, 600 fő befogadására alkalmas templomot a budapesti László-testvérek tervezték és Erdődi Lajos építőmester irányításával helyi szakemberek építették. The Kápolnási Street Synagogue was built in 1910. The church, which is modern in appearance and reflects Byzantine influences in its structural structure, can accommodate 600 people and was designed by the László brothers in Budapest and built by local experts under the direction of master architect Lajos Erdődi.

Wir kamen 20 Minuten zu spät und trotzdem wurden wir eingeladen die Synagoge zu besichtigen und es gab wirklich sehr interessante Einblicke und dann wurde uns auch noch die andere Synagoge ( zur Zeit mit Wasserschaden in Reparatur und dennoch gefiel mir dieser besser) eingeladen. Ich danke dem freundlichen Mann, leider weiß ich seinen Namen nicht! Ich werde mich immer an diesen Tag erinnern. Danke Möget ihr uns Deutschen verzeihen. What friendly people there are! We were 20 minutes late and still we were invited to visit the synagogue and there were really very interesting insights and then we were also invited to the other synagogue (currently with water damage being repaired and yet I liked this one better). I thank the friendly man, unfortunately I do not know his name! I will always remember this day. Thanks May you forgive us Germans.
