Az abszolút legdélebbi pont a 136-os határkő Beremendhez tartozik, de a legdélebbi lakóház Kásádon található (Petőfi u. 16.). Ezen kívül van egy harmadik pont is, egy emlékoszlop, a két falu között, de a határtól több kilométerre. Amikor az oszlopot állították akkor a határsávba holmi földi halandó (és oszlop) nem tehette be a lábát, ezért került ilyen messze a tényleges nevezetes ponttól. The southernmost point of the country is between Beremend and Kásád. The absolute southernmost point belongs to the landmark 136 Beremend, but the southernmost residential building is located in Kásád (Petőfi u. 16.). There is also a third point, a memorial column, between the two villages, but several kilometers from the border. When the column was set up, the earthly mortal (and column) could not set foot in the boundary band, which is why it was so far from the actual landmark.

A nyíl, amire itt fel van irva, hogy "déli pont", az valóban az ország legdélibb pontjára mutat, a szántó mögött még jóval a fák mögött van az ország legdelibb pontja, de oda nem lehet lemenni, mert magánterület. Ez a pont van kijelölve, ide már tényleg közel van az ország "vége", ennél közelebb nem lehet menni. Sokan a Mattyhoz tartozó Keselyősfapusztát mondják a legdélibb pontnak, ami igaz is meg nem is.. mert Mattynál vannak a legdélebbi lakóházak, ott tud az ember ténylegesen délebbre elmenni az országon belül, mint ez a pont. Many argue about the point halfway between Beremend and Kásád as to whether it is the southern point. The arrow that is inscribed here as "south point" is indeed pointing to the southernmost point of the country, behind the arable land is still the southernmost point of the country, but you cannot go down there because it is private land. This point is highlighted, the "end" of the country is really close here, you can't go any closer. Many people say that the Vulture belonging to Matty is the southernmost point, which is not true ... because Matty has the southernmost dwellings, where one can actually go further south within the country than this point.

During a motorbike tour we visited the marker headboard ... I was expecting a little more, but I was not disappointed ... it is definitely worth seeing its surroundings once! ?

A valódi legdélibb pont meg még csak nem is itt van... If you are looking for the best, it is definitely worth coming here, but there is basically nothing on the headboard and a few benches. The real southernmost point isn't even here ...

Points for Hungary are published (10) South of Beremend. There are not many attractions, Kopjafa benches. In a slightly scratched condition. True South Point is another 6 km away.
