A II. kerület számára óriási jelentőséggel bír az új uszoda, amely lehetőséget nyújt majd a kényelmesebb és költséghatékonyabb iskolai úszásra, az úszás- és vízilabda-oktatásra, valamint az aktív pihenésre is a lakosság számára.
Az uszodáról
Az uszoda nagyon régi álma volt a pesthidegkútiaknak és a környéken élőknek. Az uszodaberuházással az önkormányzat a szűkebb és tágabb környezetben élő lakosság igényeit kiszolgáló, vízilabda-utánpótlás nevelésére épülő uszodát szeretett volna létesíteni a Máriaremetei úton, amely nagyszabású úszó- és vízilabda-eseményeknek is helyszínéül szolgálhat, miközben a helyi oktatási intézmények igényeit is maximálisan kiszolgálja.
A belső fedett térben kialakított 50×25-es nagy medence keresztirányú megosztásával és elválasztásával kialakítható két 25×25-ös vízfelület, amelyek egy időben tudják szolgálni a lakossági úszásigényeket és a vízilabdautánpótlás-edzések megtartását. A teljes medencetér 10 sávos, akár nemzetközi úszóverseny lebonyolítására is alkalmas. A létesítményen belül büfé és fitneszterem is kialakítására került. A kültéri medence 33×20 méteres, amely amellett, hogy nyáron “strandként” üzemelhet, szintén alkalmas hivatalos vízilabda-mérkőzések lejátszására. Kialakításra került még egy 20×10-es tanmedencét is, amelyben délelőttönként a környék iskoláiból érkező gyerekek úszásoktatása zajlik.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kritikán aluli... Összességében egy szép, új uszoda, azonban egyáltalán nem tartanak tisztaságot, a bicikli tároló nem fedett és a személyzet kifejezetten goromba. Miután megvettük a jegyeket, kiderült,hogy a benti medence nem is használható. (Kedvezmény cserébe nincs) Volt egy üres sáv, amit nem engedtek használni, pedig az ott töltött egy óránk alatt senki nem használta. Mivel rosszul van kiîrva,mi merre, bementünk az eredeti bejáraton, (le volt zárva), ahol nagy üvöltözésbe kezdett az egyik alkalmazott, "nem tudsz olvasni?" "Te itt aztán nem mész át" "mit nem lehet ezen felfogni?" Stb. Kedvességgel. Ezek után az öltözőbe is zavartuk a személyzetet,mert mertünk lezuhanyozni és vizes lett a padló. Kár, hogy van egy új uszoda, ahova biztosan nem térünk vissza...
 Uncritical ... Overall, a nice new swimming pool, however, they are not kept clean at all, the bike storage is not covered and the staff is downright rude. After we bought the tickets, it turned out that the indoor pool could not be used. (No discount in exchange) There was an empty bar that was not allowed to be used, although no one used it during the one hour we spent there. Because it's poorly written out, where we went into the original entrance, (it was locked), where one of the employees started screaming, "can't you read?" "You're not going through this here," "what can't be understood?" Etc. Kindly. After that, we also disturbed the staff in the locker room because we dared to take a shower and the floor got wet. Too bad there's a new swimming pool we're definitely not going back to ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since when the new mayor is governing, quality is constantly decreasing, kids' teaching is more profit oriented than results oriented. So may happen that your son is already well prepared from other swimming pools but here s/he will be placed again in a beginner course, to optimise attendance (to be polite).
Some trainer have no swimming experience but coming, for example, from football. Very Bad communication skill from trainers and management. Arrogance at its finest. If you attend here, they will take care of your monthly pass. Only.
Parents can not attend to kids training. And no one can explain why...
Swimming pool is at the center of a political debate, so the result is that the main pool has been closed for years and only external pool (under a tent during winter) is available. Don't believe at the website picture, that big nice pool is closed.
Having one pool only (plus low water for kids) make the ticket overpriced and on average you can have three lanes available during the morning. Only three lanes for a community pool!!
Senior group was important during quarantine, two nice groups in two different time shift. Now management don't care and simply imposed one shift only, sometimes at 6am, sometimes at 8am. No other opportunities for seniors.
Employees at reception and cash desk are great, clean, good parking,
What a shame...
