★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sokszor átmente a parkon gyermek koromban, mindég megnéztem a cimert. Érdekes és jopofa volt a gyerekek számára. Gyerek legendák száltak a testvérváros cimerrel kapcsolatban. De igy volt szép anno. Balázs József Róbert képzőművész, Kazincbarcika testvérvárosának, Dimitrovgrádnak címerét a bolgároktól kapott minta alapján készítette el, anyaga kőcseréplap. A címer alsó részén látható szöveg:
'A SZOCIALIZMUSÉRT'. A felsőrészén a város alapításának dátuma olvasható: 1947. IX.2.
 He went through the park many times as a child, I always looked at the coat of arms. It was interesting and jopofa for the kids. There were childish legends about the twin cimer. But that was nice anno. The coat of arms of József Róbert Balázs, the sister city of Kazincbarcika, Dimitrovgrád, was made by the artist on the basis of a sample received from the Bulgarians, the material is a stone tile. Text at the bottom of the coat of arms:
'FOR SOCIALISM'. At the top is the date of the city's founding: 1947. IX.2.
