Köcsögleves

"Köcsögleves"
Rozmaringos-borsikafüves tejszínes pulykaraguleves, sokféle zöldséggel, cserépköcsögben tálalva, melyet pizzatésztával befedtünk, kemencében aranysárgára sütöttünk.

Me and my Mom went there for lunch in a quiet time of the year, weekday and they had everything from the menu. Nice big portions and nice flavours. Will be back again definiately.

During my summer holidays with my Hungarian wife in different areas of Hungary, I had the occasion to get acquainted with several inns, restaurants and cafés. Some of those places are renowned and have a good reputation, like this one, the "Diófa Csárda". "Diófa" means "Walnut tree", "csárda" means a lonely situated, countryside inn. The name of the famous Hungarian dance "csárdás" comes from "csárda". The "Diófa Csárda" deserves its good reputation. You have a great choice of traditional Hungarian dishes and drinks, served by pretty and friendly young waitresses, you can visit a beautiful garden with an artificial spring and fishes, and moreover a lovely little zoo with sheep, goats, pigs and other animals. A VISIT AT THE "DIÓFA CSÁRDA" IS 100% RECOMMENDABLE! ??????❤??????

Friendly but high quality service, tasty dishes, hard to choose from the wide range menu. Highly recommended.

Good food, nice staff really, it should be 5 stars but on Saturday there was a huge crowd, full parking lot so there was quite a waiting time involved because the place was super busy. Worth visiting any time, the prices are very reasonable but maybe out of rush hour(s) if you're not a fan of waiting. We talked a lot and the terrace was very pleasant to do so , so it wasn't a big problem for us.

Best vaslapon sült csirke I have tasted in Hungary. The staff were polite, welcoming and fast to serve. Great view and service.
