We were so excited to discover this shop. My husband is italian. And we love the pastries here and the focaccia is really nice too. The reason i put one star less is even though its considered an italian bakery it does not have the warming vibes of the italian culture. It seems the girls are not the happiest and it seems you are pain to them when u ask for the food, we felt a bit uncomfortable. I did see sugar free and glutten free choices for those who have dietry requirements which is always a bonus.

it’s still the best authentic Italian pastry shop in the city. Everything is super delicious, but the Bronte cake is outstanding, so full of pistachios! Also, their ice cream is the next best option to buying a plane ticket to Italy, period. Cassata, mandorla and pistacchio are my choices of flavor, but you can’t go wrong with anything else.

I have ordered beigli for Christmas here which I found quite expensive (2800HUF/500gr) but I wanted to try. I think it stood for days before I take it over as it was dry and tasteless at first try. After 1-2 days it became more soft and finally I got the taste (pistacchio and nutella-hazelnut) that was amazing! It really saved the experience at the end. The nutella-hazelnut one could break easily though. Anyway, I would buy next year too but much earlier so that I don't have a dry, tasteless beigli on my table. Pre-ordering and service was smooth and kind.

Tiramisu is to die for, all other pastries are excellent too. A little bit on the pricey side, not too much space for seating but absolutely worth it for the quality of everything.

The ice cream is creamy and full of flavour! The selection is not the largest, but the available flavours are not common (cannolo and lavender with white chocolate within the others). The only downside is that the portion is a bit on the small side, for 300 Forints a scoop. The shop is clean and tidy, therefore a pleasure to sit in at the tables: I was there on a sunny Saturday afternoon and it was surprisingly quiet. You can also purchase a couple of spreading Italian creams, so I got the pistachio one for 3200 Huf. Will be back for pastries and cakes.

Sweet Italian spot in the middle of the city. Try the Tiramisu and the C̶a̶n̶e̶l̶l̶o̶n̶i̶ Cannoli Siciliani if you get the chance. Update: I fixed the mistake in my review. Bonus: We've been there a few more times so I have more details. The staff is nice and friendly, the prices are fair and there's a lot of yummy sweets to choose from. Overall this is a place you should try even if you're just in the city for a couple of days.

Delicious settevelli cake! One of the best which we ever eat...??? Seems a nice family business (mother and daughter) with fully equipped own lab inside. If I will return to Budapest I will surely return to this cake shop ? ?

Unique Italian sweets, desserts and bakery products! The coffee was good too, there is lactose free or caffeine free option. The style inside is really nice and cozy, you can also see the kitchen. Great experience, we are going to come back :)
