Great place with some sort of sophisticated hotel, many options to do and enjoy with. The nights are live and vibrat, little appartment houses are really well-sorted and clean. Loved it there!

We spent 2 nights in the hotel in the middle of December. It was a very quiet period, just a few guests in the hotel, but also a quiet winter period with some sun shine. Everything was so peaceful and calm. For us this was a unique experience after mostly used to bigger hotels. There is a lot of attention on the guests, staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. Really enjoyed the dining experience, the open kitchen, discussion with the waiter. The food was truly excellent. I very much enjoyed to the attention to detail throughout the hotel and the interesting interior design and architectural elements: reading nook in the upstairs corridor, curved wall panel behind the piano, ambient light with metal mesh screen above the reception and the kitchen counter, how the stairs run under the wall panels in the staircase, and branded furniture. And of course, this continue into the rooms which are all different. We got the room with the light up moose head and other brown and very warm elements. Worked very well in the winter. We did not enjoy the garden much since it was winter, but the details continue out in the garden. I very much liked the hexagonal decking and blower bed pattern, I should do something similar myself. The decking going out to the river must be a bless in the summer period, but was still great to go out to, just sit a look at the calm river. We did use the outdoor sauna and jacuzzi which was great in the cold weather. It is very secluded, nice experience to have a sauna in the evening and look out to the garden and the illuminated decking. Nice touch that there is no set “opening hours” for the sauna, you can go whenever you want. Still the sauna could use some under warranty repairs. All in all a fabulous experience and could highly recommend.

Very nice design and atmosphere. Rooms and common area are clean. Staff is polite and professional. Restaurant has great choices. Possibility to use free SUPs, canoes, surfs at the private beach. Very much recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. Donautica is perfect for a calm, intimate place to relax, reacharge and just enjoy. Also there are nice bike trails and the bikes of the hotel can be used. There are even small boats and sups for free usage. We really recommend this place.
