Easy to reach by car or even on foot or by bike. Just a few meters from the road, the forest is home to a huge stone. Many sayings are associated with Jesus, the most frequently heard, that he was on the donkey's back, and the animal's patella remains visible in the rock to this day.

Stones of irregular shape with different shapes imprinted. Everyone sees what they want. My children saw the sasquacz print. The legend says otherwise. I saw the big hoof and the president's cane, maybe its end. On the way to the viewpoint you have to pass. There is a rock garden next to it, several benches and paths. A driveway party for a bicycle. A good place for a break in the shade of the trees.

Near the Kőhegy lookout tower, beside the parking lot there is a jumble of forest. From the train station you can reach it by the red tourist sign. It got its name from its legendary rock, which is actually the result of volcanic activity. Small garden intimate, quiet place with benches and tables.

The local cultural organizer - Péter - called my attention to see the Szamárkő tourist attraction, which is located at the bottom of Kőhegyi Lookout Hill. You shared the following little story with me: Legend has it that Jesus and St. Joseph walked on donkeys. Suddenly Jesus was frightened by something and jumped off his donkey. This is how the footprint got on the stone :-) If we take a closer look, one can clearly see the trace of the hoof of the donkey and the trace of the stick of St. Joseph in the sea sandstone. If we put our palms in the footsteps of Jesus and think of a desire, it will come true :-) (... well, I put my hand in it too ... This has been going on for about a week, and since then, my two dreams - through concretes - can be said to be coming true :-) Next to the stones is a small rock garden, which is cared for by visitors. On top of a plaque decorated with folk motifs, you can read a supplication. (author, unknown) which is worth apologizing to those who pass by. This place, even before the conquest, was a place of sacrifice.

Interesting and beautiful place. On the way to the lookout, it's worth a detour.
