Because there was no card reader at check out and I didn't have any cash with me, the shop owner encouraged me to take the sweets and pay later. As I was rushing to catch my bus, I accepted his offer without hesitation because there was no other way I could have given any present for my mother. I'm speechless at how impressed I am by his warm sympathy and proactive problem-solving. I sure will see him tomorrow and return the favour.
