★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Budapest környéki falvakban viszonylag gyakoriak az un. kitelepítési emlékművek. Az évszázadok óta itt lakó svábokat bűnbaknak kikiáltván elűzték őket otthonaikból. Csobánkán is akad ennek emléke. Érdekes története van, a polgármester annak idején sem a német nemzetiségi önkormányzatot, sem az önkormányzati képviselőket, sem a kitelepítettek leszármazottjait, sem Csobánka lakosságát nem hívta meg az avatóünnepségre. Lett is botrány. Később aztán egy másik alkalommal újra felállították, újra felavatták, hivatalosan. Ma, hogy arra jártam, több helybélit megkérdeztem a téren illedelmesen, hogy mi ez? Egyik sem tudta, sőt, volt aki inkább zavarában eliszkolt onnan.
