Finta Sándor Túrkevén született. 1920-ban emigrált és az Egyesült Államokban telepedett le. Finta Sándor tagja volt annak a szobrászcsapatnak, amely a dél-dakotai Fekete-hegység Mount Rushmore részén sziklába faragta négy amerikai elnök 18 méteres portréját.
 The statue of Sándor Finta commemorates 209 Hatvan victims of the First World War. In 1917, the first monument dedicated to the memory of World War I heroes was erected in historic Hungary. Sándor Finta was born in Túrkeve. He emigrated in 1920 and settled in the United States. Alexander Finta was a member of a team of sculptors who carved an 18-meter portrait of four American presidents in the Rock of Mount Rushmore in the Black Mountains of South Dakota.
