★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1810-ben készült el a ma ismert érsekcsanádi református templom, korábban a község a Dunához sokkal közelebb foglalt helyet, de a sorozatos áradásoknak köszönhetően 1806-ban átköltözött a falu a mai helyére. Sokaknak feltűnhet, hogy nem a főúton foglal helyet, ezt ugyanis akkor még tiltották a nem elfogadott vallások számára.
Bár első látásra nem tűnik fontos történelmi helynek, de a templomhoz tartozó parókián született Losonczy Géza, az '56-os forradalom államminisztere.
 The Reformed Church in Ersekcsanád, known today, was completed in 1810. The village used to be much closer to the Danube, but due to the series of floods, the village moved to its present location in 1806. Many may find that it is not on the main road, as this was still forbidden to unacceptable religions at the time.
Although it does not seem to be an important historical place at first glance, Géza Losonczy, the Minister of State of the '56 Revolution, was born in the parish belonging to the church.
