Egyes helyeken Szarvasi Holt Körösnek hívják, amelynek még egy kisebb mellékága déli irányból a Szarvas-Békészentandrási Holt-Körös. A Google Maps térképén a Kákafoki -Holt-Körös elnevezés szerepel.Így nevezi ezt a holtágat Kácsor László A folyók élni akarnak című könyvében is (Gondolat,1990). It is interesting to name this backwater. The tour guide of the cruise ship consistently called it Kákafoki Holt-Körös. In some places it is called Szarvasi Holt Körös, another minor branch of which is Szarvas-Békészentandrási Holt-Körös from the south. The name Kákafoki -Holt-Körös appears on the Google Maps. This is how László Kácsor calls this backwater in his book The Rivers Want to Live (Gondolat, 1990).
