m	madalen baltussen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an enjoyable lunch. Everything was delicious & the wait staff attentive. Our waiter made conversation with us & accommodated for our lack of Hungarian. The view was lovely.

When we arrived, when we wanted to order both dinner and dessert and also for the receipt, the waiters didn’t really notice us, never approached us and just stood and looked around. More than once we noticed them being quicker to ask and serve other tables. They seemed like they didn’t really care, and when I complained, they didn’t really care either and said they had been busy, but more than half the tables inside had been empty… especially when 12% of the amount you pay go to services and the waiters, then you would at least hope they were attentive.

And create disorder between staffs and guests… View is great on the Danube riverside, but that’s it!

Honestly, we were expecting much better service, too, based on how the place looked. Waiters weren't too attentive and our table clearly hadn't been wiped for a while (and not even when we sat down). A 12% service charge was included. We probably wouldn't have left much of a tip had it not been. Probably won't come back, like ever.

The one waiter that was serving 6,7 tables at a time clearly ran off his feet during the whole time we were there... yet the service remained slow. Food was underwhelming. But again, it was a relatively "quiet" spot on a Friday evening with available seating next to the sidewalk/river.

Service at the end of our meal was rather slow, and we ended up waiting for about 30/45mins for the bill after being told that it was going to be brought out to us, however, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and we were pleasantly full, so the wait didn’t bother us too much (though it might bother others!)
