★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A szolnoki Piroskai úti vasútállomás közelében találtam meg a fej nélküli Nepomuki Szent János szobrot, egy tanya előkertjében, a kerítésen kívülről látható.
A felújításra szoruló szobron jól látható még Szent János papi ruházata, vállán a hermelipalást, s a kezében tartott feszület és a vértanúság szimbolómaként a pálmaág is kivehetö.
A szobor talapzatát részben felújították, illetve egy cementes védőhabarcs bevonattal látták el, s így már nem látható a talapzaton eredetileg bevésett felirat, melyben olvasmányaim szerint az 1707. évi szoborállítás szerepel.
 Near the railway station on Piroskai út in Szolnok, I found the statue of St. John of Nepomuk without a head, in the front garden of a farm, outside the fence.
The statue, which needs to be renovated, also shows St. John's priestly clothing, the ermine shoulder on his shoulder, and the palm branch can be seen as a symbol of the crucifix and martyrdom held in his hand.
The pedestal of the sculpture has been partially renovated or covered with a cement mortar, so the inscription originally engraved on the pedestal no longer appears, which, according to my readings, contains the 1707 sculpture erection.
