 Wonderful landscape. The T34 is a striking memory of the past. I can only recommend this area. Bike preferred.

The memory of our liberation is in a somewhat neglected state. Maybe I should have two more information boards about who sacrificed their blood and why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Szomorú emlékhely, mely a szabadság alóli felszabadulásunknak állít emléket. A tank felfüggesztéséből még mindig csöpög a kenőanyag. A tankra érdemes fel és bemászni. Vigyázzni kell mert kevés a kapaszkodó, valamint a felületek csúszósak. A kiszerelt belső berendezések ellenére is nagyon szűk a hely.
It is a sad place of remembrance that commemorates our liberation from freedom. Lubricant is still dripping from the tank suspension. It's worth getting on and off the tank. Care must be taken because there are few handrails and the surfaces are slippery. Despite the removed interior equipment, the space is very tight.

A környék csodaszép, és az odavezető út is gyönyörű. Egyszer el kell jönni! Sok szép látnivaló kiindulópontja lehet a hely parkolója.

The neighborhood is beautiful and the trek is beautiful. One has to come! There are many beautiful sights in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Egy letűnt kor kiemelkedő helyszíne. Ez is Magyarország történelméhez tartozik. A környék szépen rendezett, karbantartott (akár kezdődhetne a következő április negyedikei ünnepség) . Néhány információs táblával érdemes lenne a mai kor gyermekeinek is elmagyarázni, hogy mit jelent a Battonyától-Nemesmedvesig.
An outstanding site of a bygone age. This also belongs to the history of Hungary. The area is nicely tidy, maintained (it could even start the next April 4th celebration). With some information boards, it would be worthwhile to explain to today's children what it means from Battonya to Nemesmedves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nagyon jó túra célpont. A tankra fel lehet menni, a bátrabbak bele is mászhatnak. Lengőteke, tűzrakó hely odakészített fával, esőbeálló, padok asztalok. Az odavezető úton az M80-as viaduktja is megtekinthető.
Very good hiking destination. You can go up to the tank, the braver ones can climb into it. Bowling alley, fireplace with wood made of wood, rain gate, benches and tables. The viaduct of the M80 can also be seen on the way there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tank közelében szép XIX. századi szoknyás harangláb. Kicsit távolabb turistapihenő, mellette egy alumínium-harang. Felirata: Ex oriente lux—Keletről jön a fény! Csak halkan jegyzem meg, a tatárok is onnan jöttek.
A legmélyebb benyomást rám a falu temetője tette. Ősöreg sírok, melyeket gondos kezek ápolnak. A temető „peremén” pedig egy kopjafa, melyet a HVTE (Hegyek Vándora Turista Egyesület) állíttatott az elhunyt turisták emlékére.
Near the tank beautiful XIX. century belfry with skirt. A little further away is a tourist rest area, next to it is an aluminum bell. Caption: Ex oriente lux — Light is coming from the East! I just note quietly, the Tartars also came from there.
I was most impressed by the village cemetery. Ancient tombs cared for by careful hands. On the “edge” of the cemetery is a headstone erected by the HVTE (Mountain Wanderer Tourist Association) in memory of the deceased tourists.
