Our solar panels are based on the CIGS (Copper-Indium-Gallium-Selenide) thin film technology developed in the Empa Photovoltaics Laboratory, the global efficiency record holder on plastic substrate at 20.4%. Flisom has developed proprietary machinery and roll-to-roll production technology for low-temperature deposition of CIGS and multiple thin film layers on high-grade plastic substrate. Monolithic interconnection of solar cells by laser patterning capitalizes advantages for advance high throughput manufacturing and uniform elegance. The core technology has been developed by our in-house specialists – our years of work and know-how are protected by 38 patent families, with the IP portfolio growing steadily.
