★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Szép, miénk és mindig történik itt valami. Gyakran ad helyet kulturális rendezvényeknek is. Bár azt meg kell mondjam, hogy nagyon hiányoznak a régi, nagy árnyat adó fák. Ha valaki veszi a fáradságot, elinditja a Google térképet és virtuálisan körbejárja a teret észre fogja venni a különbséget.
 Nice, ours and there is always something here. It is often a place for cultural events. Although I have to say that there are a lot of old trees with big shadows. If someone takes the trouble, starts the Google map and virtually walks around the space to see the difference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nyári szabadságukat otthon, Magyarországon töltöttük. Sokat szoktam ilyenkor bicajozni és az egyik ilyen túrám, Szakolyból Nyírbátorba vezetett. A főterén pihentem meg. A tér tiszta, rendezett, sok árnyékos lóca várja a pihenni vágyó vándort. A közelben található több élelmiszer bolt, bank, üzlet,étterem, fagyizó.
Summer holidays at home, Hungary spent. I used to do a lot of cycling and one of my hikes, from Szakoly to Nyírbátor. I rested in the main square. The space is clean, tidy, with many shady benches waiting for the wanderer to relax. Nearby are several grocery store, bank, shops, restaurants, an ice cream parlor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Szépen rendben tartott tér /park a városka közepén, ami tovább épül/szépül a tér északnyugati részén, ahol szép, érdekes térplasztikákkal és egy szökőkúttal bővült.
Well-kept square / park in the middle of the city, which is further built / beautiful in the northwestern part of the square, with beautiful, interesting spatial statues and a fountain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, in the olden days... it looked different, had more trees and provided more shelter from the sun in the summer. Now it looks a bit bare.
There used to be parking spaces inside the 'Körforgalom' where the local cool lads with their Ladas in the 80s used to hang out in the summer evenings.
The local BMX bandits back in the day used to jump off the stone stage that used to be in the north end of the square.
There are shops on the outer rim, the Kakukk (Cuckoo- don't ask), a restaurant that has been there since ... ooh time immemorial.
