Az egykori hajógyár bejáratának bal oldalára Pándi Kiss János 265 cm magas, jó minőségű mészkőből készült munkásalakját 1953-ban állították. Id. Fekete Géza hasonló léptékű hajóműszerésze két évvel ezután készült el. Mindkét szobor a korszak reprezentatív alkotásai közé tartozik.
