Parked in front of the restaurant, we were still unsure whether to go in or not. But as soon as we entered, all our doubts were immediately dispelled. The owner welcomed us kindly and kindly. The service, the quality and quantity of the food was impeccable, it represented a much higher standard than what we expected there at the "end of the world", after the first impression. We wish you much success! We will be back.

The place evokes the romantic past of the countryside, the retro is not it .. the food is delicious, specifically the pizza, which is the best pizza in the country. We ordered several UFOs with our guests and took them home from here. We have been receiving the request from them ever since, if we go to Csokva, we will definitely have pizza. The staff is excellent, sense of humor, good intentions, human attitude 5 *. We'll be back ... again.

Basically the place I give 3 of. So, don’t go there for a gastronomic experience! :) But then why did he become a five? Because Dezső the owner is a real caterer. I’m not that conversational kind, yet I learned about half the life and we discussed what the former pub would look like more like a pizzeria than a pub and watched all our requests. In the middle of nowhere, we were looking for some quick dinner with 4 kids. We had our accommodation in the neighboring village and this one option was a few minutes away. First, when we went in front of the place, did the woman even ask if we were really stopping here? Am I going forward? But I was brave I took the whole family at once and we took a place outside. :) They were preparing for an evening charity event in favor of the local kindergarten, by the way, so there was traffic. We ordered 3 pizzas and a fried meat. Only half of the pizzas were sold out. It’s not your typical Italian pasta and its taste is a little sweet, so even a party is plentiful. If you’re going for it after a tiring busy day, it’s just right for quenching hunger and snoring. Don't look like that from the outside! :)

For over 20 years I have been coming back to Csokvaomány as a tourist again and again. Since it opened, I've been going to the pizzeria "Giovanni" with my friends and family, which offers a balanced menu for children and adults. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and drink a cool, freshly tapped Borsodi Pils. But there is also coffee and cake and ice-cream scoops in summer. I'll be back in Csokvaomàny in autumn, and of course I'll get there straight away! By the way, the owners also speak German. Amendment (2021): In this year's tourism season, I can only repeat what I have said above. If you would like to eat a local dish, I recommend trying Sztrapacska, e.g. Túrós sztrapacska.

Very rare old, awful tasting food for Brazilian guests. I don't recommend Putri to anyone !!!
