Alacsony vízállás mellett a sziget hatalmas homokos parttal rendelkező szabad strandja a Duna medren keresztül megközelíthető. Nyáron Igazi strand hangulat napokra kitelepült emberekkel, zenével , bogracsozassal, szalona sutokkel. Elfogadható éttermek és kajaldak a Gödi Duna Gát mindkét végén Dunakeszi és Sződligeti felől is. Kerékpár ut kiépítve a Duna teljes hosszában a folyó mellett a településen belül de közvetlen a part mellett a fák árnyékában is kerékpározható ösvény található. A nagy méretű kövek mellett traktorok használt gumi abroncsai, fémrács és a "gáton" fennakadt uszadék miatt elég rendezetlen képet mutat.
