Look at the statue of Jesus. There would be many statues of Jesus instead of crucifixes!

The view is nice, but next time I would go up on foot without a car.

Religious memorial site, a crossroads of 14 stations, with a chapel rising above a fabulous, stepped cellar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A breathtaking panorama unfolds before us from the lookout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hercegkúton két helyen is vannak pincesorok, mind két domboldalon. Az egyiknél a kálvárián felkanyarogva eljutunk a sztupaszerű kilátóhoz, melynek tetején Krisztusszobor áll. A hegy kopasz, így szabadon gyönyörködhetünk a kilátásban. A másik oldalon lévő pincesornál találtunk wc-t, ami nyitva volt, padokat asztallal, mind két helyen árultak palackozott bort, még mézet is.
There are rows of cellars in two places on Hercegkút, on both hillsides. At one of them, turning up on Calvary, we reach the stupa-like lookout tower, at the top of which stands the Statue of Christ. The mountain is bald, so we can freely admire the view. At the cellar row on the other side we found a toilet that was open, benches with a table, bottled wine, even honey, was sold in both places.
