★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mezőhomok leányegyházaként a Munkácsi Egyházmegyétől maradt a trianoni Magyarország területén, ezért nem a Hajdúdorogi Egyházmegyéhez, hanem a Miskolci Apostoli Exarchátushoz csatolták. Önállósítása 1932-ben megtörtént, hiszen a legközelebbi parókiák is nagyon messze voltak, a hívek ellátása komoly gondot jelentett. Temploma 1867–77 között épült, homlokzati tornyát csak 1895-re fejezték be. Ikonosztázionját Szekerák Miklós festette, 1973-ra készült el. Számos filiája van, a környékbeli, református többségű falvak maroknyi közösségei tartoznak hozzá.
As a daughter church of Mezőhomok, she remained from the Diocese of Munkácsi in the territory of Trianon, Hungary, so she was not attached to the Diocese of Hajdúdorog, but to the Apostolic Exarchate of Miskolc. It was independent in 1932, as the nearest parishes were also very far away and the care of the faithful was a major concern. It was built between 1867 and 77, and its façade tower was completed only in 1895. Its iconostasis was painted by Miklós Szekerák, and was completed in 1973. It has several branches and a handful of communities in the surrounding Reformed villages.
