★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was travelling West towards Romania. Terrible weather, police had closed the through-route, could not possibly make it to my targeted stopover. Told my SatNav to take me to the nearest hotel; I get an "OK, diverting to The Granada".
The route taken convinced me this would prove to be a BIG mistake, but not at all ... how WRONG I was.
What a really GREAT hotel. Huge, modern, first class resturant, bar and we'll priced accommodation. Excellent breakfast spread. But above all are the most open and friendly staff where the ladies on recepton set a relaxing tone.
From now on The Granada will be a regular overnight for me on my long through journeys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor quality of service. The rooms are not well equipped. Sometimes you need to wait more than 2 hours for towel and bathrobe. They promise more than what you get in reality. The rooms are NOT airconditioned. There are no safe lockers and water cattle. The staff has communication issues among departments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The grounds were amazing, spa, saunas, and pool were refreshing. Lots of outdoor areas and helpful staff. However, nights I stayed they had a wedding that went from 6 pm -6am. Loud music, DJs, and karaoke. So if that's how all weddings are in Hungary sleepong isn't going to happen.

- too noisy we haven't slept all night.
- there was nothing to eat at 9p.m.
- there is no air conditioning in the room.
I like the place but i would not return!

I was happy with the service in the restaurant of the hotel, but my opinion is bad because the didn’t do the room service, and I was there for 4 nights. Most of the workers there were ok, but one of them was really stupid coming to us telling that we were leaving the hotel without payment, and we were booked for one more night.

The service was amazing,the food,which serves both hungarian and international cuisine, were tasty and beautifully served. The food was self-served, I really recommend the desserts. The staff were very kind and understanding if there is a problem. The pool and jakuzzi were my favorites, we went there almost everyday.
I had a wonderful time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An affordable leisure place. Staff are nice but not good in English. Even it is a 4 stars hotel, there are some missing things. An example, empty soap dispensers of the room. There is no soap at all. The phone numbers on every dispenser is just an advertisement, don't call the number to ask filling. :)
