★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Egy triatlon verseny kapcsán látogattam el Gyékényesre, illetve a gyékényesi bányatóhoz. A hatalmas területen fekvő, kristálytiszta vízű tó nagyon egyszerűen megközelíthető, már a települést átszelő, 6804 számú útról is jól látható. Nagyon jó parkolási lehetőségek vannak közel a vízparthoz. Több kemping és szálláshely is található a környéken, elfogadható árakon. A település felőli part szinte teljesen beépült, de azért van lehetőség a házak között megközelíteni a vízpartot. Búvárklub is van közvetlenül a vízparton.
