The medieval church, built in honor of the spiritual father of Saint Martin, was built by the villages of Kis and Nagypos in the 14th century. According to a document dating back to 1400, the eastern window of the church's sanctuary accurately marked the border between the two villages. At the turn of the 20th century, the parish church was in poor condition, so in 1905, Prince Miklos Esterhazy demolished and rebuilt it. According to the description of the then parish priest József Wallner, the plans to rebuild the "zigzag building" from the foundations were carried out by the Viennese architect Ludwig Schone in a neo-Gothic style, similar to the Heart of Jesus Church in Köseg. ... Some of the carvings from this old church can also be found in the new church. The stained glass windows of the new church with the image of St. Martin were made by Denes Rumor Verboi. A painting on the nave depicting a scene of the division of the mantle in Amiens, done in 1882 by the Austrian artist Josef Weiter. The seal of the parish of Nagisse, made in 1834, also depicts a scene of the separation of the cloak: Martin on horseback gives half of the cloak to a beggar sitting on the ground.
