I can't really appreciate this Calvary church in a weedy area that may have been very valuable once. I read that the fence had fallen out recently. The promises to renovate became nothing. . It is very unfortunate that he is in this condition. At the same time, I could admire the wonderful stations "saved" from the courtyard of the Holy Crown House - thanks to the rescuers! Maybe it's not too late to save the temple. I, too, would be happy to contribute if they collected this.

What we learned about it (May 2021): On the former Lord's Hill, the Jesuits built a chapel and a Calvary with 5-5 stations located in the stone wall of the fence between 1721 and 233, donated by the Agony Society. The plans of the chapel were made by Károly Rabl. The old Calvary was demolished in 1861 and a new church was built on its site. The originally Baroque building was significantly altered by several reconstructions. In 1938, the station pictures were taken at the Zsolnay ceramics factory. In the mid-1990s, these reliefs were damaged, so dr. Abbot Louis the Great was taken down and restored by a parish priest from Upper Town, and in 2014 he was placed in the courtyard of the Treasury of St. Bartholomew's Church. The empty building complex was not spared by the iron teeth of time, it was used by the homeless as temporary accommodation. Lightning struck the tower in 2002, as a result of which the tower and the gate on which it stood collapsed. The problem of the "calvary" of the church-owned shrine, which has been empty for nearly two decades, seems to be solved. This area is also included in the national kindergarten development program of the Hungarian Catholic Church, the restoration can start in June 2021.

This church also eloquently demonstrates the attitude that characterizes the church against its buildings. If something is renewed, it is either hammered out by believers, or funded by allam or the municipality. As proof, there are dozens of small churches in Ormánság.
