★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Györköny evangélikus templomának kapuja előtti térburkolatban megtaláltam az általuk "örökbefogadott" 53/95 számú idézetes emlékkövet. Ez a másodpéldánya a budapesti Kálvin téren 2017-ben, a reformáció 500. évfordulóján elhelyezett 95 kő egyikének.
Ehhez kapcsolódik a templommal szembeni füves területen található kopjafa, felirata szerint a reformáció 500. évforfulójára készítették 2017-ben fafaragók. Nevük bevésve látható a hátoldalon: Edvi Gyula, Varga Csaba, Orot István.
A templom kapuja felett egy 1917. évben elhelyezett emléktábla látható, a reformáció 400. évfordulójára.
A tàgas térben álló szép templom megragadó képet nyújt. A templom mellett, és szemben világháborús és kitelepítési szobrokat láthatunk. A templommal szemben a település testvérvárosi kapcsolata emlékoszlopát és emlékpadját is megtaláljuk.
 In the pavement in front of the gate of the Lutheran church in Györköny, I found the quoted memorial stone No. 53/95, which they "adopted". This is a duplicate of one of the 95 stones placed in Kálvin Square in Budapest in 2017, on the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
Related to this is a headstone in the grassy area opposite the church, inscribed by woodcarvers in 2017 for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Their names can be engraved on the back: Gyula Edvi, Csaba Varga, István Orot.
Above the gate of the church is a memorial plaque placed in 1917 to mark the 400th anniversary of the Reformation.
The beautiful church in the spacious space offers a captivating picture. Next to and opposite the church we can see World War II and deportation statues. Opposite the church we can also find the memorial column and the memorial bench of the settlement's twinning relationship.
