For a seemingly small station, it's pretty nice. We had to stop here late at night for a few hours and the inside of the station was relatively warm (it was 0 degrees centigrade outside). You also get clean washrooms. In case you want to use the vending machines you need the local currency (forint) in the form of coins.

Here it's easy to find your way anywhere even if something crowded and a bit 'chaotic' like Volt festival is going on in town. Members of staff or security are really helpful. It connects the west of Hungary with not only the rest of the country but some foreign destinations as well.

It is modern, clean and open at night also which is quite helpful when it is raining. There are several vending machines so you can buy some snack even when the shop in the station is closed for the night. The restrooms are clean, but you have to pay for them. However if this is the price for a good service then it is acceptable.

Surprisingly clean bathroom, decent shopping option to pre-journey snacks and things. 1 star minus, because those snacks are heavily overpriced. Station is average compared to regular Hungarian stations, not in bad shape, but could be improved.

Better signage is needed I was very confused as to which train to go back to Vienna and very few people could speak English though I got by with my bad German. Well worth the short train journey from Vienna to visit a different country and it's so cheap and the people were very friendly, WARNING it's not euros, I didn't know and at first walking up the high street looking in the shop windows thought it was really expensive ,the exchange rate was really good so I bought a lot of gifts in the centre.

The station is currently under construction. Some signs are missing for first visitors, but the staff is kind and very helpful. Vs. MÁV it is much better.
