T	Tünde Balla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Má kétszer jártunk arra. Nyoma sincs éketnek. Egy elhanyagolt parkba áll. Más kastéky ōrülne ekkora parknak. Kívülről rendbe van a kastély! We've been to it twice today. There is no sign of a wedge. It stands in a neglected park. Other castles would be crazy for such a park. The castle is fine from the outside!

Nagyon szép, impozáns építmény! The Gyürky – Solymossy Castle, built in 1790 in the primeval park of Kisterenye, is a late Baroque-style, one-storey building with two onion domes and a shingle-covered corner tower. Very beautiful, imposing building!

A kastélyhoz tartozó kiszolgáló épületek romos,erősen elhanyagolt állapotban vannak,a lovarda gusztustalan belülről,tele van szeméttel,ürülékkel. Kiábrándító,hogy emberek képesek ilyen mocskot hagyni maguk után,az amúgy szép környezetben. Egyes részeit újítják. Érdemes felsétálni a templomhoz illetve a temetőhöz is! Mindenképp érdemes betérni egy sétára! Due to epidemiological restrictions, we could only walk in the castle park. The service buildings belonging to the castle are in a dilapidated, strongly neglected condition, the riding school is distasteful from the inside, full of rubbish and feces. It’s disappointing that people are able to leave such filth behind in an otherwise beautiful environment. Some parts are being renovated. It is also worth walking up to the church and the cemetery! Definitely worth a walk!
G	Gabriella Gál on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hely, ahol a kapusfülkében rántott hússal kínálnak. :) Jelenleg a csodaszép parkban kószálhatsz szabadon és jegy nélkül, a múzeum (kastély épülete) zárva. A melléképületek romjaikban is szépek, a kastélykertbe nem illő művelődési ház épületét viszont eltüntetném, ha tehetném. Érdemes megállni itt egy órára. The place where fried meat is served in the goalkeeper. :) At the moment you can wander freely and without a ticket in the beautiful park, the museum (castle building) is closed. The outbuildings are also beautiful in their ruins, but I would destroy the building of the house of culture that does not fit into the castle garden, if I could. It's worth stopping here for an hour.

A kastély és a hozzá tartozó kert gyönyörű, annak ellenére hogy felújítás alatt áll egykori fénye és magával ragadó hangulata miatt családok számára is kiváló program. A tiny slice of history where time has stopped. The castle and its garden are beautiful, despite being renovated due to their former light and enchanting atmosphere, it is also an excellent program for families.

"A város legfőbb nevezetessége a késő barokk, hagymakupolás Gyürky-Solymossy kastély és a körülötte lévő 13 hektáros angolpark, amely a város északi végén fekszik a helyi vasútállomás mögött. A kastélyt 1790 körül építtette a Gyürky család, érdekessége, hogy az 1820-as években innen indult el Kubinyi Ferenc azokra a régészeti kutatásokra a közeli Hársas-hegyen (ma Aranyhegy), amely révén elindult a térség régészeti feltárása. A kastély a Kárpát-medence északi részének nevezetes barokk kastély-típusának legdélibb példája, Magyarország egyetlen ilyen építménye, melyet a nyugati homlokzat két sarkán lévő „hagymakupolás” oldaltorony tesz jellegzetessé. A földszinten és az emeleten 3-3 szoba nyílik boltíves mennyezetekkel, az oldalszobák toronyerkéllyel vannak kibővítve. A keleti házrészben egy-egy sarokszoba található. Az épületet körbefutó párkány díszíti, manzárdtetős, tornyain zsindelyes hagymasisakok vannak. A kastélyt az 1840.es évek végéig a Gyürky család nyári lakként használta. Az 1900-as években házasság révén a Solymossy család birtokába került a kastély és a kastélypark, amely átépítésre került. A második világháború után az épület sorsa viszontagságos volt, majd sorsára hagyták, a földszinti boltozatának egy része beomlott, a zsindelyfedés valamint a kastély eredeti berendezése elpusztult. 1982-ben szerkezetileg helyreállították és a salgótarjáni Kohászati Üzemek oktatási központja működött itt. A kastélyt Bátonyterenye Város Önkormányzata 1996 végén vásárolta vissza igen leromlott állapotban. Unfortunately it is not open to the public, it is closed. The renovation would fit.
