The word "archduke" (Erzherzog in German) is specific to the descendants of the Habsburg monarchy and does not occur in other dynasties. The museum is open in summer, out of season must be announced in advance if someone wants to view it and it will open. The entrance fee is 500 HUF per person. Worth checking out. In the maids' flats, which are in another also restored building, it is possible to stay cheaply. I can highly recommend it, because the environment is wonderful and there is also the Great Castle, which was later built in the neo-baroque style, which is also very beautiful. It is a place of historical value, as during the Austro-Hungarian-Monarchy many crowned main and nobles turned here. Even today, many are coming who can do it financially.

A very beautiful place, you could say a hunting lodge, which has an indescribable spirit. The building is a bit shabby on the outside, but the interior excites, all in wood and leather. Indescribable aroma from the kitchen, perfect ... Beautiful well-kept garden.

The Habsburg Kis_ and Nagykastély are located in a secluded corner of the country, well worth a look!

The building closer and visibly smaller than the entrance is the so-called small castle. Don’t be fooled by the fact that both are yellow. The hunting museum is in the small castle, but it is only seasonal and opens from March. In addition to the small castle, there is also a bust of Archduchess Isabella of Habsburg-Lorraine.
