A Hajdú utca felöli részén Szepesi Gyögy (1922-2018) sportriporter emlékére Erős Apolka szobrász alkotását avatták fel nemrégiben. A Vasas-pálya közelében elhelyezett szobor tisztelgés a legendás sportriporter emléke előtt, születésének 100. évfordulóján.
Szepesi György született angyalföldi, egyben Angyalföld örökös díszpolgára, s a szobor talapzatán olvashatjuk, hogy "az Aranycsapat tizenkettedik játékosa”.
 The recreation park is very sympathetic.
In the part facing Hajdú Street, the work of sculptor Apolka Erős was recently inaugurated in memory of the sports reporter Szepesi Gyögy (1922-2018). The statue, located near Vasas Track, is a tribute to the memory of the legendary sports reporter on the 100th anniversary of his birth.
György Szepesi was born in Angyalföld and an inherited citizen of Angyalföld, and on the pedestal of the statue we can read that he is "the twelfth player of the Golden Team".
